Open the record. Placement edit page is the most common — the seeded PLACEMENT_NOTICE + PLACEMENT_END_REMINDER templates light up as buttons.📷Screenshot: One-click template buttons on the Placement edit header email-one-click_buttons.png
Click the template button (e.g. Placement notice). The modal opens with subject + body pre-filled from the template, resolved against the record's data.📷Screenshot: Pre-filled review modal before the send fires email-one-click_modal.png
Review. Spot-check that the worker's name, role, site, and dates landed correctly. Anything that came back blank is either a missing field on the record or a placeholder that this record's context can't resolve.
Edit if needed. The subject and body are both editable. Quick tweaks for a per-recipient flourish ("Welcome aboard, looking forward to working with you") are fine.
Send. The email fires immediately; a comm_log row stamps the template id, system_name (e.g. PLACEMENT_NOTICE), and the recipient.
Audit later. Every comm_log row tagged source=email_addon_one_click + a system_name is a one-click send. Filter your comm_log by these fields if you ever need to answer "did we send PLACEMENT_NOTICE to Jane last week?".
