SWMS

A SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) is the document required for High-Risk Construction Work — bundling the hazards, risks and controls for a task.

In FlecBase a SWMS is a versioned record attached to a Job, with a status (draft → active → under review → archived), a review date and the uploaded document. When a placement's inherited hazards include high-risk work, a SWMS is required — and the worker is asked to read and acknowledge it in their /me portal, which the compliance matrix tracks.

SWMS live entirely in the CRM. (Governance — policy, the canonical hazard catalogue and the risk register — is where the optional FCM integration sits; SWMS are never hosted in FCM.)
