Hazards

Hazards are the WHS sources of harm in your operation — Working at Heights, Welding, Asbestos, Confined Space, Mobile Plant.

The Hazards library is your master list. Each hazard carries a category, a default likelihood × consequence rating as guidance, and a high-risk-work flag (which is what makes a SWMS mandatory). A starter library of common construction and industrial hazards is seeded for you.

A hazard attaches to its source, and a placement inherits whatever applies to it from all three: the task (a Unit of competency), the place (a site / Organisation), and the plant (an asset type). So a welder, on an asbestos site, operating a crane shows all three exposures automatically — each tagged with where it came from.
